Come celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Alliance for the Great Lakes at our annual fundraising event! Taking place on the Columbia Yacht Club's beautiful ship, the Abegweit, and featuring delicious food from Shaw's Crab House and live entertainment, the Taste of the Great Lakes is a premier event celebrating all that the Great Lakes provide.
Join the Alliance and other friends of the Great Lakes as we mark forty years as the only independent organization that is 100% dedicated to the health of our Great Lakes.
Fees: Members: $100 advance, $125 at the door Non-Members: $115 advance, $140 at the door.

Using many of Rachel Carson’s own words, this documentary-style film is an intimate and poignant reflection on her life and accomplishments. Struggling with cancer in the last year of her life, Carson recounts with both humor and anger the attacks by the chemical industry, government and press because of her groundbreaking work to document the dangers of DDT.
