Watch the migrating monarchs, mourning cloak butterflies and the red-tail hawk as we hike The Monarch Trail. We'll stop often: through nectaring prairie, past protective marshes with rare purple marsh milkweed, through the oak savanna to the sycamore grove. The large sycamore tree is where the monarchs drape branches like wild wall paper in orange and black as they are joined by migrating monarchs from Canada on their way to Mexico.
Anyone may attend this is a Sierra Club outing - wear long pants & appropriate clothing for the weather - walk will be about 1.5 hours. Contact Dianne at (414) 771-1505 for questions. Check the website below for more information.
