Every day, more Americans choose to forgo their automobiles and ride their bicycles to work. People ride to work for many reasons: for exercise, to save money, to help the environment or to see their communities in a whole new light. Biking to work is one of the fastest-growing trends in the country!

Over the years many communities throughout Wisconsin have joined together in Bike to Work Week. As Bike to Work Week approaches, registration and event calendars from each community will be available.

In the meantime, the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin is excited to announce that both the Madison and Milwaukee Bike to Work Week will be June 6-12th 2009. The warmer June weather is going to draw out more people and encourage more first-time bike commuters. We are excited to work with you to make the 2009 Bike to Work Week the best yet.
