Gathering Waters Conservancy, a statewide, non-profit conservation organization based in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced professional to serve as its Land Trust Program Director. The Program Director is responsible, under the direction of the Executive Director, for designing and implementing programs to strengthen land trusts throughout Wisconsin.

The Program Director will design and implement Gathering Waters’ direct services to Wisconsin land trusts -- helping land trusts increase the capacity and quality of their work. The job entails but is not limited to: responding to inquiries, face-to-face meetings, providing on-going organizational support, coordinating regional collaborative efforts, planning workshops and designing an annual Wisconsin Land Trust meeting. The Program Director should expect to work closely with the rest of the staff to maintain and strengthen Gathering Waters’ relationships with the land trusts, our funders and other key partners. The Program Director will also be responsible for researching grant funding to support those services and coordinating grant applications, tracking and reporting.
