Access to the extension is from the "old" trail along Canal Street to the new bridge at 37th. From there, either proceed through the tunnel to visit the Silver City Neighborhood or turn right or west at the south end of the bridge. A short segment of the trail is in gravel, as this will be used by construction vehicles while the eastern portion of the project is under construction in about a year. Keep going west to the Miller Parkway Bridge, on through the Old Soldier’s Home (VA) and through State Fair Park. The trail currently ends at 94th Place. We will be completing the trail to the Oak Leaf Trail at Underwood Creek Parkway sometime in the future.
