Community Outreach Coordinator

Milwaukee Water Commons is a cross-city network that fosters connection, collaboration and broad community leadership on behalf of our waters. We promote stewardship of, equitable access to and shared decision-making for our common waters. We are helping catalyze Milwaukee as a model water city-a place where we all have a stake in the health of our waters and all share in their stewardship as well as their benefits.

We are seeking a part time Community Outreach Coordinator (1/2 time ) to lead our community outreach and engagement work as a vital part of our Water School, Water City 3.0 program and related community activity. The Coordinator will help strategically develop and build on community relationships across Milwaukee, involving organizations and individuals in events, projects and leadership opportunities in relationship to Milwaukee’s waters and water future. An emphasis will be on proactively engaging and supporting the leadership of constituencies and communities often left out of city decision- making.
